Re: Remedi Restorative Practitioner
Nottingham Academy are working in partnership with Remedi, an organisation who provide a range of Restorative Services.
We are pleased to confirm that Tristan Liburd has been appointed as our Restorative Practitioner. He will be based across our two secondary campuses working with our Academy community; supporting pupils, staff and families to develop positive relationships and manage conflict.
Tristan will deliver 1:1 sessions, group programmes and family interventions according to needs identified and in response to issues which are relevant to our community.
We are keen that the views of our whole Academy community are considered in developing priorities for group programmes and to encourage involvement from pupils, staff, parents and wider community stakeholders.
We would therefore like to hear your thoughts and ask that you to complete the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/WCJR55C . The results will support the development of Academy policies and inform the group programmes delivered with our pupils.
There will also be opportunities for parents, staff and pupils to meet with Tristan in person during drop in clinics, at pre-arranged forums and at future Parents’ Evenings.
Nottingham Academy would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr Liburd and look forward to developing a restorative approach to support our Academy Respect Values.
Mr G Rae
